We are a small county with a big heart for its citizens.  The four-season climate provides a bevy of activities for those living in our county and those who come to visit us.

The nearness of the Snake and Weiser Rivers as well as the many streams that crisscross the county keep nature close to our residents.  Our lands contain expanses of forest, grasslands and sagebrush.  These expanses are full of wildlife waiting to step into view.
